Inspired by Vincent and the Doctor, this is a Photoshop collage of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and my TARDIS made to match his painting style. Please do not copy or use this image to resell or alter without my permission. This image is available on RedBubble, under Terry Lightfoot, in various formats.
I know it has been a while since you posted this, but I searched for this on red bubble, guessing you took it down after so long. Is there any way I can buy this in poster form? Is it out there somewhere still? Thanks! I really love the work.
Hi Terry, I just found your brilliant Starry Night with TARDIS over this past weekend, and I must say, I LOVE it! I would be thrilled if you would grant me permission to use it as the cover picture for my Facebook timeline. I am using it as the wallpaper on my iPhone and on my computers. Those are private, obviously, and are not being seen by anyone but me. Facebook though, is quite public and I would not dare to use your fantastic art there without your consent. So, may I? Pretty please? Doctor Who's Ex Wife
Hi Terry, Oh my goodness! I just found your your genius of a TARDIS Starry Night over the weekend and I would LOOOOOVE to use it as the cover art for my Facebook timeline. I am using it a the wallpaper on my computers and on my iPhone, but those are private. I wouldn't put it on Facebook without your permission. Might you grant me permission? Doctor Who's Ex-Wife
My I use your image as my photo on my debit card? I would love to see this every time I pull that little sucker out.
Also, I saw someone was having a little conniption over the possible violation of copywrite laws. All of Van Gogh's works are in the public domain. However, since you altered the work by adding the Tardis, you could apply for copywrite of your image. Public domain images that have been significantly altered, ie. The Mona Lisa with a mustache, are eligible for copywrite protection under U.S. regulations. Just a little bit of legal trivia.
You can find it from there.
